Mr. Binod Chaudhary, Nepal’s richest man, has established the Chaudhary Group’s Fiber Internet Service in Nepal. The Chaudhary Group has previously founded CG Telecom to provide the country with inexpensive mobile services. They are now venturing into this internet business since they were unable to obtain a unified license to run cellular networks and basic phone services. CG Telecom Fiber Internet Service is recently opened in Kathmandu under the name CG Net, which is expected to compete with other ISPs such as Nepal Telecom, Worldink, Subisu, and Vianet for market share.
From today, CG Communications will provide internet access in the Kathmandu Valley.The corporation has introduced CG Net for half the cost of other internet services existing in Nepal.
High speed internet connection is predicted to have a significant influence on customer efficiency and improve the quality of service offered by the public and private sectors. CG Communications will provide 120 Mbps at a cost of Rs 999.
CG Communications believes that the consumer-centric service has been launched and will bring a whole new experience to the lives of consumers.CG Net is a countrywide Internet Service Provider (ISP) that offers services to both businesses and consumers.
The company said it would launch IPTV and other popular services in the near future. CG Net has taken advantage of the latest generation technology available on the worldwide market to meet the expanding need for video, OTT platforms, work-from-home opportunities, and online classes.
Initially, the company’s services will be available in all three districts of the Kathmandu Valley. For now, residents of Jawalakhel, Jamsikhel, Bhanimandal and Ekantakuna will be able to avail the services of the company.
CG Net will be expanded in all areas of the Kathmandu Valley within 12 months. The service will be available within 6 to 24 hours of requesting to connect the company’s service to the homes of consumers in the mentioned areas.

The company’s customer service centers will currently be located at CG Digital’s branches in Jawalakhel, Kumaripati, Kirtipur, Nayabazar, Min Bhawan and Trade Tower Thapathali.
Along with the network expansion, customer service centers will be added in other areas of Kathmandu Valley as well, the company said. The company has set a monthly fee of Rs 999 for 120 Mbps internet at the launch of the service.
Connection and router is provided free of cost for the consumers who take the annual package. Similarly, monthly and 3-month and 6-month packages will also be free of cost for connection and router.
